Susan M. Pollak, MTS, Ed.D
Susan M. Pollak, MTS, Ed.D. is a psychologist in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is a longtime student of meditation and yoga who has been integrating the practices of meditation into psychotherapy since the 1980s. Dr. Pollak is cofounder and teacher at the Center for Mindfulness and Compassion at Harvard Medical School / Cambridge Health Alliance and was the president of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy for ten years from 2010 to 2020. She is a co-editor of The Cultural Transition; a contributing author of Mapping the Moral Domain; Evocative Objects; and Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, 2nd Edition; and is the author of the new book Self-Compassion for Parents: Nurture Your Child by Caring for Yourself.

Thomas Pedulla, LICSW is a clinical social worker and psychotherapist in private practice in Arlington, Massachusetts, where he works with individuals and leads mindfulness-based cognitive therapy groups. Tom has served on the faculty and the board of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy, as well as the staff and the board of the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center. A practitioner of meditation in the Vipassana tradition for over 30 years, Tom is also a contributing author of Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, 2nd Edition.

 

Ron D. Siegel, Psy.D.
Ronald D. Siegel, Psy.D. is an assistant professor of psychology, part time, at Harvard Medical School, where he has taught since the early 1980s. He is a long time student of mindfulness meditation and serves on the board of directors and faculty of the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. Dr. Siegel teaches internationally about mindfulness and psychotherapy and mind / body treatment, while maintaining a private clinical practice in Lincoln, Massachusetts. He is author of The Mindfulness Solution: Everyday Practices for Everyday Problems; coauthor of Back Sense: A Revolutionary Approach to Halting the Cycle of Chronic Back Pain; coeditor of Wisdom and Compassion in Psychotherapy: Deepening Mindfulness in Clinical Practice; coeditor of Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, 2nd Edition; and professor for The Science of Mindfulness: A Research-Based Path to Well-Being produced by The Great Courses.
